Frank Patton Hughes III
Frank Patton Hughes III was born in Iredell county and has lived all over our great state of North Carolina. He has enjoyed time spent in Statesville, Union Grove, Norlina, Greensboro, Kings Mountain, Winston-Salem, and across Avery County where he spent most of his life.

Our students and parents deserve top notch education, and our teachers try so hard to deliver. Yet roadblocks, such as underfunding, overcrowding, and other problems due to recent legislation, have weakened our public schools.

Here in the mountains, poverty and geography present major obstacles to quality healthcare for many people. I will work to ensure that all Carolinians get the quality medical care and respect they deserve.

Throughout western Carolina we rely on our forests, pastures, and streams for food, livelihood and tourism. These resources must be protected.
